Karnataka Public Service Commission released recruitment Notification for Posts of Assistant Director Posts in the Department of Urban and Rural Planning

* Preliminary Exam
* Mains Exam
* Interview

1) Must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture from a recognized University or a certificate from the Institute of Engineers that he has passed Part A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of Institute of Engineers; and

2) Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Town & Country Planning or Urban Design or Urban Planning or city Planning or Landscape Architecture or Transportation Planning or such other equivalent qualification recognized by the Institute of Town Planners, India for appointment and also for membership of the Institute of Town Planners, India.

Candidates are required to pay the application fee to apply for these posts
* For General Candidates Rs. 600 / -
* Candidates belonging to Backward Classes Rs. 300 / -
* For ex-military candidates, Rs. 50 / -
* SC ST CAT-1 and Disabled candidates are exempted from fee payment.
- All Candidates must pay service charge Rs 35/-

For backward class candidates - 38 Years
SC ST CAT-1 Candidates - 40 Years
